  • Designers are a brother and sister team, Christopher and Nicholas Kunz since 2005
    • Christopher has a MBA and experience with marketing analysis, he modeled for a while and is a self-taught fabricator, with a love for outdoors.
    • Nicholas went to FIT and Polimoda School of Design, She got her start in menswear design at DKNY then moved to womenswear, and was a founder of Coach’s men’s sportswear. 
    • They show the same collection in NYFW and MFW
    • Their theme is “sportswear with an urban edge”
    • They are best known for their Parkas and Anoraks 
    • Their “Nova” Jacket was worn by Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Rebecca Vallance

  • The brand launched in 2009
  • Rebecca Vallance from Australia 
    • began as a fashion publicist working for the brands Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Prada.
  • In January 2012, Harper's Bazaar Australia named Rebecca Vallance one of three up and coming designers to watch
  • The line combines edgy and sophisticated by using structure and fluid draping

  • Founded in 1989
    • Founder, Designer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Max Azria
      • Azria was inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) IN 1998. 
    • Lubov Azria, Chief Executive Officer and Max’s wife, joined the company as a designer in 1991 and was named Creative Director in 1996.
      • Lubov Azria was inducted into the CFDA in 2010.
  • BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP acquired the esteemed Hervé Léger fashion house. 
    • Azrias relaunched the Hervé Léger label in early 2007

Erin Fetherston

    • graduated from UC Berkeley then attended Parsons Paris to study fashion design. 
    • in 2009 was inducted as a member of the CFDA.
    • Fetherston recently married Cobra Starship’s, Gabriel Saporta
  • In 2005, she presented her label during the Paris haute couture show.
    • In 2007, Fetherston moved to New York City where she has since shown her ready-to-wear collection.
  • her signature is a combination of feminine, whimsical and romantic

Leanne Marshal

    • By age 12, her designs were being shown to the public in the form of costumes for her ballet and dance performances. 
    • At age 18, Leanne won the Levi’s Dockers Scholarship and was awarded a year of free tuition at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco where she went on to study
  • She developed and launched her first line (previously named Leanimal).
  • In 2008, Leanne was selected as a contestant for Season 5 of Project Runway.
    • She made it all the way to the finale where she showed her, now famous, wave inspired collection in shades of turquoise, ivory and sand. 
    • The judges, and audiences worldwide, were captivated by her final collection and Leanne was crowned the winner.

SUPIMA

  • Supima is America’s luxury cotton: founded in 1954, 
    • They have an elite variety of pima cotton grown only in California and the Southwestern U.S.
  • The annual Supima Design Competition
    • The created to give runway exposure to emerging talent and was modeled on the legendary 1954 Wool Secretariat competition 
    • The competition launched the careers of the then-teenaged Yves St. Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld. 

Tadashi Shoji

  • Made to flatter all figures, using fabric with stretch, the goal and theme of the lable is glamour with ease.
  • In 2007, Tadashi debuted his higher-end runway collection at New York Fashion Week
  • founded in 1982
    • Tadashi Shoji Raised in Japan
    • Moved to LA in the 70’s earning a degree in design
    • he launched his own collection in 1982.

Desigual

  • Manel Jadraque began in 2004 as the Director of Operations.
    • In 2009 Jadraque led the international expansion of Desigual into the United States, 
    • Jadraque had a Masters in Business Management from the Instituto de Empresa
  • Today, their children’s and accessory divisions makes up more than 20% of Desigual's global revenues.
  • In 2012 Jadraque assumed the role of Managing Director of Desigual worldwide.

Josie Natori

  • They created a line for Target
  • The House of Natori extends through ready-to-wear, lingerie, home, bedding, fragrance, and accessories.
  • Matori is best known for lingerie

Ohne Titel

  • By Flora Gill and Alexa Adams in 2006
    • Both Parsons grads and Karl Lagerfeld alums
  • Ohne Titel in German means "untitled"
  • They use techniques as macramé, crochet and the line encompasses a sporty, futuristic-look
  • In 2008, Ohne Titel enlisted Cesare Paciotti to produce its first collection of shoes.

  • Designers Chris and Meggie Kempner the grandchildren of socialite Nan Kempner
  • Chris Kempner completed MBA at Harvard Business
  • Meggie former stylist at Ralph Lauren
    • studied at Parsons 
    • attended her first runway show with Nan at age 12
  • Nan Kempner
    • Yves Saint Laurent's best friend
    • her wardrobe was displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute in a 2006 exhibit titled "Nan Kempner: American Chic" (Kempner died in 2005 at the age of 74.) 
  • spring 2015, unveiled their first-ever New York Fashion Week presentation
  • The designs are sophisticated with edge composed of mainly separate pieces
