    • Childhood background in dance
    • In 1964, won Mademoiselle magazine’s “Guest Editor Contest.”
    • Apart of the 1960’s Warhol scene
    • Youngest designer to receive the Coty Award 
    • Fun out there personality doing cartwheels down the runway for the finally
  • Line trademark: sexy silhouettes, hippie inspired flowing fabrics, whimsical detailing and, most importantly, a fabulous fit.

  • Miller studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris.
    • She is from America
  • Worn by Angelina Jolie, Halle Barry, Beyonce, Joss Stone, Jordin Sparks and Felicity Huffman, and many more
  • The line is known for its silhouettes and the way clothing is draped.

Zang Toi

  • Zang is from Malaysia
    • Studied at Parsons 
    • awarded the Mouton Cadet Young Designer of the Year
    • supporter of the Lance Armstrong Foundation
  • Began line in 1989
  • U.S Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour featured Zang in March 1990 issue
  • named as one of the Top 8 most influential Chinese Americans

Academy of Art University

  • Starting in 2005 this University displays their newly graduates lines
  • largest private university of art and design in the United States
  • The university was established in 1929
